Greenlife Healthcare Staffing is seeking an Emergency Department Registered Nurse to provide rapid, high-acuity care for patients presenting with acute illness, trauma, and medical emergencies in a fast-paced hospital setting.

✅ Qualifications:
✔️ Active Louisiana RN license and current BLS certification
✔️ Minimum 1 year of ED/ER or acute care experience
✔️ Completion of accredited RN program (ADN or BSN)
✔️ Strong skills in triage, IV insertion, EKG, and emergency interventions
✔️ Ability to perform under pressure with strong clinical judgment

✅ Key Responsibilities:
✔️ Perform rapid triage using ESI (Emergency Severity Index)
✔️ Manage patients with trauma, chest pain, stroke, sepsis, respiratory distress, and overdose
✔️ Initiate IV access, obtain labs, and perform EKGs
✔️ Assist in resuscitation (CPR, airway support, defibrillation, hemorrhage control)
✔️ Administer emergency medications and critical drips per protocol
✔️ Coordinate care with physicians and multidisciplinary teams
✔️ Monitor high-acuity patients on telemetry and respiratory support
✔️ Provide patient and family education on treatment and discharge plans
✔️ Ensure accurate, timely EMR documentation
✔️ Support safe handoffs for admission, transfer, or discharge
