✅ Qualifications:
✔️ Graduate of an accredited RN program (ADN or BSN)
✔️ Active Louisiana RN license and current BLS certification
✔️ Minimum 1 year of relevant nursing experience required
✔️ Skilled in airway management, pain control, and hemodynamic monitoring
✔️ Strong assessment, communication, and critical-thinking abilities

✅ Key Responsibilities:
✔️ Monitor post-operative patients and assess airway, breathing, circulation, and recovery status
✔️ Manage recovery from general anesthesia, regional blocks, and monitored anesthesia care (MAC)
✔️ Administer medications for pain, nausea, blood pressure control, and post-op symptoms
✔️ Identify and respond to post-surgical complications and emergencies
✔️ Monitor surgical sites, drains, catheters, and wound care devices
✔️ Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and nursing teams
✔️ Evaluate discharge readiness using established recovery criteria
✔️ Educate patients and families on post-operative care and recovery expectations
✔️ Maintain accurate and timely EMR documentation
