Greenlife Healthcare Staffing is seeking a PACU Registered Nurse to provide exceptional post-anesthesia care and ensure safe recovery for surgical patients in a fast-paced hospital environment.

✅ Qualifications:
✔️ Graduate of an accredited RN program (ADN or BSN)
✔️ Active Louisiana RN license required
✔️ Current BLS certification required
✔️ ACLS and PALS certification required or obtainable within designated timeframe
✔️ Minimum 1 year of relevant PACU or perioperative nursing experience
✔️ Strong assessment, critical-thinking, and communication skills

✅ Key Responsibilities:
✔️ Monitor patients recovering from anesthesia and surgical procedures
✔️ Assess airway, breathing, circulation, pain levels, and recovery progress
✔️ Administer medications and manage post-operative symptoms
✔️ Identify and respond to post-surgical complications and emergencies
✔️ Monitor surgical sites, drains, catheters, and wound care devices
✔️ Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and interdisciplinary teams
✔️ Educate patients and families regarding recovery and discharge instructions
✔️ Maintain accurate and timely EMR documentation
