Greenlife Healthcare Staffing is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to conduct nursing home surveys and complaint investigations in Syracuse, NY. ✅ Qualifications
✔️ Nursing degree (Bachelor’s preferred)
✔️ Current New York State RN license
✔️ Minimum 2 years experience in utilization review, claims, medical review, investigations, or 3 years clinical/administrative experience; OR Bachelor’s + 2 years clinical/administrative experience
✔️ SMQT certification preferred; must obtain within 12 months of employment
✔️ Strong interpersonal, communication, and investigative skills
✔️ Able to work independently and in a team environment
✔️ Proficient with computers and able to learn new programs
✔️ Ability to travel to onsite locations as required

✅ Key Responsibilities
✔️ Conduct surveys and complaint investigations in long-term care facilities
✔️ Investigate allegations of abuse, neglect, and non-compliance
✔️ Draft Statements of Deficiency (SOD) and maintain accurate documentation
✔️ Assess compliance with Plans of Correction
✔️ Complete data entry in Federal and State reporting systems
✔️ Participate in Immediate Jeopardy monitoring as needed
✔️ Attend meetings and testify in administrative hearings
✔️ Adhere to Department of Health (DOH) and IPRO policies and procedures
✔️ Travel to facilities according to assigned work schedule
