Location: Jericho or Albany, NY
Employment Type: Full-time, Temp-to-hire (5 days per week)
Hourly Rate: $60/hr

Position Overview:
Greenlife Healthcare Staffing is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse Clinical Reviewer to perform high-level clinical reviews and abstractions related to maternal deaths and adverse outpatient surgical events. This role supports quality improvement and patient safety initiatives for a healthcare regulatory environment.

Qualifications:
✔ Active New York State RN license required
✔ Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or approved RN program completion
✔ Minimum 4 years clinical experience (medical, surgical, and/or obstetrical)
✔ At least 2 years acute care hospital experience required
✔ Strong OB / maternal health background required
✔ Experience in quality improvement or utilization review preferred
✔ Strong analytical, documentation, and communication skills
✔ Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and clinical data systems

Key Responsibilities:
✔ Conduct detailed clinical chart reviews for maternal and surgical adverse events
✔ Prepare narrative summaries of clinical findings for NYS Department of Health reporting
✔ Track and manage case status using Excel and reporting databases
✔ Analyze medical records and supporting documentation for quality review purposes
✔ Collaborate with clinical and administrative teams on review outcomes
✔ Support ongoing quality improvement and patient safety initiatives
