Qualifications:
✔ BSN or equivalent Bachelor’s degree in Nursing required
✔ Active New York State Registered Nurse (RN) license
✔ Prior nursing leadership or management experience in a community health center, outpatient setting, or hospital preferred
✔ Proficiency in staff scheduling, performance evaluations, quality improvement, EHR systems, and regulatory compliance
✔ Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
Key Responsibilities:
✔ Supervise and support nursing staff, including RNs, LPNs, and Medical Assistants
✔ Oversee daily clinical operations to ensure efficient patient flow and high-quality care
✔ Develop staff schedules and ensure appropriate clinical coverage
✔ Conduct performance evaluations, coaching, and professional development
✔ Ensure compliance with DOH, OSHA, CDC, and other regulatory requirements
✔ Collaborate with providers and leadership to improve workflows and patient outcomes
✔ Monitor clinical quality metrics and lead quality improvement initiatives
✔ Manage inventory of medical supplies and equipment
✔ Investigate and resolve patient and staff concerns
✔ Coordinate onboarding and ongoing training for nursing staff
✔ Participate in emergency preparedness and response planning
