POSITION OVERVIEW:

Greenlife Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse to join a position at a mission-driven non-profit organization operating federally qualified health centers. This role focuses on ensuring healthcare access for all through primary care, behavioral health, and health education services.

QUALIFICATIONS:

✓ Education: Certificate from an accredited practical nurse program

✓ Licensure: Current NY State LPN license and registration

✓ Experience: 1-2 years in an ambulatory setting preferred

✓ Technical Skills: Venipuncture, medication administration, immunizations, basic computer proficiency, including typing

✓ Soft Skills: Strong clinical, communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills; bilingual Spanish preferred

✓ Demonstrated ability to organize care and activities of multiple patients.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

✓ Administer medications, treatments, and wound care under RN supervision.

✓ Monitor and document patient conditions, vital signs, and progress.

✓ Assist with care plan implementation and collaborate with RNs, therapists, and physicians.

✓ Educate patients and families on post-treatment care, medications, and recovery goals.

✓ Maintain accurate clinical records, including medication logs and shift reports.

✓ Ensure compliance with infection control, safety protocols, and facility policies.

✓ Provide emotional support and advocate for the patient's needs during rehabilitation.
