Position Overview
We are seeking a Registered Nurse Clinical Reviewer / AIMS for an immediate remote opening with a non-profit organization in New York. This role is ideal for an experienced RN with an acute care utilization review background who thrives independently in a detail-oriented environment.

Key Responsibilities
✔ Conduct full-spectrum utilization reviews through appeal level (chart screening, electronic worksheets, level-one denial determinations).
✔ Execute quality and clinical study data collection reviews and complete detailed electronic data worksheets.
✔ Serve as a clinical resource for administrative staff via training, technical assistance, and staff huddles.
✔ Participate in collaborative training focused on clinical study objectives and program procedures.
✔ Support Medical Review Analysts and Physician Consultants to ensure accurate review processes.

Qualifications
✔ Education: BSN or graduate from an approved Registered Nurse program.
✔ Licensure: Active Registered Professional Nurse (RN) license in New York State.
✔ Experience: Min. 2 years in acute care (med/surg or ICU preferred) and/or 1–3 years in acute care utilization review.
✔ Technical Skills: Proficiency in EMR charting, InterQual, Milliman (MCG) criteria, and electronic data entry.
✔ Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving, independent execution, time management, and excellent written/verbal communication.
