Family Medicine Physician

Job description

We are seeking a Board Certified Family Medicine Physician to provide outpatient coverage at two primary care clinic locations in Northern Michigan.

This assignment offers a consistent weekday schedule with no nights, weekends, or call responsibilities. Physicians will provide comprehensive primary care to patients of all ages in a well-supported clinic environment.

Practice Highlights
* Location: Petoskey & Rogers City, Michigan
* Outpatient primary care only
* Monday–Friday schedule
* No call
* No weekends
* Approximately 20 patients per day
* Newborn through geriatric patient population
* Dedicated Medical Assistant and Patient Access Representative assigned to each provider
* Cerner EMR

Responsibilities

* Diagnose and treat patients across the lifespan
* Perform preventive and chronic disease management
* Conduct routine outpatient procedures, including pelvic exams and Pap smears
* Interpret EKGs and other routine diagnostic studies
* Document patient encounters using Cerner

Requirements

* Board Certified in Family Medicine
* Active Michigan Medical License
* Current Family Medicine clinical experience
* Comfortable treating patients from newborn through geriatric populations
* Local Michigan physicians preferred
