Overview
Greenlife Healthcare Staffing is seeking an ICU Registered Nurse to provide critical care for patients with life-threatening conditions in a high-acuity intensive care unit. This role involves advanced monitoring, life support management, and evidence-based interventions for critically ill patients.

Qualifications
✔ Completion of an accredited Registered Nurse (RN) program (ADN or BSN)
✔ Active Louisiana RN license
✔ Current BLS Certification
✔ At least 1 year of ICU or critical care experience required
✔ Strong skills in ventilator management and hemodynamic monitoring
✔ Experience with vasoactive and sedative IV drips (e.g., norepinephrine, propofol, fentanyl)
✔ Ability to interpret cardiac rhythms and respond to emergencies
✔ Strong critical thinking and rapid clinical decision-making skills
✔ Ability to remain calm and focused in high-stress situations
Key Responsibilities
✔ Provide direct care to critically ill ICU patients
✔ Monitor respiratory, cardiac, neurological, and hemodynamic status continuously
✔ Titrate vasoactive, sedative, and life-support medications per physician orders
✔ Manage ventilated patients and assist with airway procedures
✔ Interpret telemetry and respond to life-threatening arrhythmias
✔ Perform advanced wound care and manage invasive lines and drains
✔ Coordinate care with intensivists and multidisciplinary teams
✔ Assist with transport of unstable patients for procedures
✔ Provide emotional support and education to families of critically ill patients
✔ Document all critical care interventions and patient responses in real time
