General Surgery APP Needed in San Francisco, CA

Job description

Start: May/June/July
Assignment Length: 26 weeks

Schedule:

* Monday–Friday, 8-hour shifts (between 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM)
* Occasional weekend shifts (8 hours)
* Typically 3 weeks of weekday coverage and 1 week with a mix of weekdays and weekends
* 2–4 weekend shifts per month with adjusted weekdays off
* Must be able to work at two facilities (located ~2 miles apart)

Call:

* No call required

Practice Setting:

* Academic hospital
* General surgery service
* EMR: Epic

Work Details:

* Full-time coverage
* Responsibilities include consults, post-operative follow-ups, and assisting in the OR
* Bread-and-butter general surgery cases

Requirements:

* NP: ACNP-BC, AGACNP-BC, ACNPC-AG, or ACNPC required
* PA: Master’s degree in Physician Assistant Studies required
* Active California license required
* DEA (Schedule II) required
* AHA BLS required
* Minimum 1 year of inpatient general surgery experience required

Credentialing:

* Approximately 45–60 days
