Surgical Breast Reconstruction NP/PA Needed in San Francisco, CA:
Start Date: March 2026
Contract Length: 6 months ongoing
Schedule Details: 4x10/weekly, Tues-Fri
Work Details:
• Patient population/age: all adult, may have a few adolescents
• Department description: Mostly all reconstructive breast plastic surgery practice, mostly masectomies with reconstructive surgery after. There may be a subset of non breast cases like plastic closures, etc but most all are reconstructions.
• Provider work expectations: 50-75% OR time working on breast reconstruction. 25-50% of the time will be spent on the floor, managing patients in a med surg/tele type of unit.
• Special procedures: no procedures needed on the floor
• Skills required:
o MUST have strong OR skills
o MUST have strong patient management/floor skills
o MUST be able to do basic OR skills like suturing
o MUST be flexible with being on the floor and OR
Practice Setting:
• Hospital
Requirements:
• Board Certification: PAs must have a masters degree in PA studies
• License required: yes CA required
• DEA: yes, CA DEA with schedule 2 required
• Minimum experience required: strongly prefer surgical breast reconstruction exp, but wil consider other oncology surgical experience

Credentialing Timeframe: 60ish days
Active CA License Required
Medical malpractice insurance, travel, and lodging provided
