General Surgery APP Locums – Full-Time | No Call (CA)

Job description

Opportunity Highlights:
• Start: ASAP or 6/1/26
• 6-month assignment
• Full-time Monday–Friday schedule
• No call required
• Academic/training environment

Schedule:
• 8-hour day shifts
• Monday–Friday
• Occasional weekend shifts (8 hours)

Work Details:
• Bread and butter general surgery
• Responsibilities include consults, post-op follow-ups, and assisting in the OR
• Practice Setting: Hospital
• EMR: Epic

Requirements:
• NP: ACNP-BC, AGACNP-BC, ACNPC-AG, or ACNPC required
• PA: Master’s degree in Physician Assistant Studies required
• Active California license required
• CA DEA with Schedule II required
• AHA BLS required
• Minimum 1 year inpatient general surgery experience

Additional Details:
• Credentialing timeframe: 45–60 days
