General Surgery NP/PA Needed in San Francisco, CA

Job description

General Surgery NP/PA – San Francisco, CA
Start: As soon as credentialed
Length: 6 months with option to extend
Schedule:
• Monday–Friday, 8-hour shifts
• Occasional weekend shifts (8 hours)
• ~2–4 weekend shifts/month
• Typically: 3 weeks M–F + 1 week with weekend coverage (days off during week in lieu)
• No call
Setting:
• Hospital / Academic setting
• General surgery (“bread & butter”)
• EMR: Epic
• May float between 2 facilities (2 miles apart)
Responsibilities:
• Surgical consults
• Post-op follow-ups
• Assist in the OR
Requirements:
• Active California license
• DEA (Schedule II)
• BLS (AHA)
• Minimum 1 year inpatient general surgery experience
NP Board Certifications (required):
• ACNP-BC, AGACNP-BC, ACNPC-AG, or ACNPC
PA Requirements:
• Master’s degree in Physician Assistant studies
Credentialing:
• 45–60 days
