**General Surgery APP (PA/ACNP) – Locum Tenens**
**Location:** Santa Rosa, CA
**Assignment:** June 1 – August 31, 2026 (13 weeks)

### Position Overview

Seeking an experienced General Surgery APP for urgent inpatient coverage. Candidates must be able to commit to at least a 2 weeks on / 2 weeks off schedule (or more availability).

### Schedule

* 10-hour shifts: 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM
* Minimum availability: 2 weeks on / 2 weeks off

---

### Practice Details

* Setting: Inpatient / Acute Care
* EMR: Epic
* Support: 2 APPs on staff
* Patient mix: ~80% adult, ~20% trauma (includes adult, pediatric, and neonatal cases)

---

### Responsibilities & Skills

* Inpatient and acute surgical care
* OR experience required
* Suturing and general surgical procedures

---

### Requirements

* PA-C required (NPs considered if ACNP-certified)
* Board Certified or Board Eligible (within 3–5 years of training)
* Active California license required
* Active CA DEA required
* BLS and ACLS required
* General surgery experience required

---

### Credentialing

* Estimated timeframe: 60 days
