Nurse Practitioner - Surgery - Trauma

Job Details:
• Full-time Nocturnist position delivering overnight surgical care (7P-7A) • Deliver comprehensive Trauma and Acute Care Surgery services • Perform assessments, order/interpret diagnostics, and develop treatment plans • Manage trauma and emergency general surgery patients across inpatient settings • Support trauma surgeons with procedures and ongoing patient management • Work autonomously while collaborating with physicians and multidisciplinary teams • Document all care using Epic EMR • Ensure compliance with medical staff bylaws and privileging processes • Maintain high-quality patient safety and performance standards • Participate in UCHealth OAP mentorship, leadership development, and ongoing education • Must have two years of trauma surgery experience or completion of a surgical fellowship • Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program with a Master's degree in Nursing • Nurse Practitioner Certification by ANCC or AANPCB required • Unrestricted Colorado license to practice as a Nurse Practitioner • Must be eligible for DEA and Medicare/Medicaid provider status • Clean malpractice/license history highly preferred • Must hold BLS certification • No visa sponsorship available (No J-1 or H-1B visas accepted) • Not accepting fresh graduates

Compensation:
