Job Details:

  • Join the Urology, Surgery, and Surgical Subspecialty team as a full-time Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
  • Serve as an essential part of a multidisciplinary team delivering care across numerous surgical subspecialties including Urology, OB/GYN, Urogynecology, Breast Surgery, and Plastic Surgery
  • Manage surgical inpatients, admissions, and consultations in an inpatient setting
  • Perform operative first-assist duties and bedside procedures
  • Conduct routine physical examinations and formulate medical, educational, and psychosocial care plans
  • Develop plans for further evaluation of health needs including referrals to specialists and other health team members
  • Provide appropriate treatment within scope of practice under established guidelines in collaboration with supervising physicians
  • Full-time schedule with rotating three to four 10-12 hour shifts per week, primarily weekdays
  • No call required
  • Unrestricted State of Connecticut Medical License required (or eligible)
  • Minimum 1+ years of urology and/or surgery experience as a Physician Assistant required
