Job Details:
- Join the Urology, Surgery, and Surgical Subspecialty team as a full-time Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
- Serve as an essential part of a multidisciplinary team delivering care across numerous surgical subspecialties including Urology, OB/GYN, Urogynecology, Breast Surgery, and Plastic Surgery
- Manage surgical inpatients, admissions, and consultations in an inpatient setting
- Perform operative first-assist duties and bedside procedures
- Conduct routine physical examinations and formulate medical, educational, and psychosocial care plans
- Develop plans for further evaluation of health needs including referrals to specialists and other health team members
- Provide appropriate treatment within scope of practice under established guidelines in collaboration with supervising physicians
- Full-time schedule with rotating three to four 10-12 hour shifts per week, primarily weekdays
- No call required
- Unrestricted State of Connecticut Medical License required (or eligible)
- Minimum 1+ years of urology and/or surgery experience as a Physician Assistant required
