Advanced Practitioners - Surgery
Job Details:
- Seeking a Nocturnist Physician Assistant or Acute Care Nurse Practitioner to join a talented and enthusiastic surgery team
- Responsible for first-assisting in the operating room, rounding, bedside procedures, admissions, discharges, and consults
- Work in collaboration with a number of surgeons across multiple service lines including General Surgery, Robotic Surgery, Bariatric Surgery, and Thoracic Surgery, with some coverage of Orthopedics and Vascular
- Full-time, night shift schedule with flexible scheduling options available
- No call required
- High level of autonomy within a seasoned and experienced team
- Inpatient surgery setting utilizing EPIC clinical technology
- Unrestricted State of Connecticut Medical License required (or eligible)
- RNFA certification required for Nurse Practitioners; AGACNP certification required
- Minimum of 1+ year of experience in a surgery or related setting required; 2+ years preferred
- Market-leading compensation including up to $30,000 in shift differentials on top of base pay
