General Surgery APP needed in upstate NY - March start

Job description

We are seeking an experienced general surgery APP to provide locum services in upstate NY. This is an excellent opportunity for an APP who is looking for flexible scheduling, supplement work, and/or a rewarding work environment. Coverage is needed beginning March and will be for 6 months ongoing.

✅ Setting: Acute Care Hospital
✅ Shifts: M-F, 7a-3p or M-TH, 7a-5p + CALL
✅ Work Details:
Will need to cover first assist and the ability to cover the floor. The candidate would only work the floor if they are here for a prolonged period. Otherwise, it would just be OR. Weekend rounding/call nights as needed based on call holes, but call is mostly covered for Jan/Feb/March, other than one or two nights. The first week of April will be heavy on call shifts due to vacations
EMR: Epic
Patients per day: 10-15
✅ Credentialing timeframe: 6 weeks

Requirements:
📌 NY state license
📌 BLS, ACLS
📌 DEA in NY
📌 Board Certified
