General Surgery NP/PA – Locum Tenens – Walla Walla, WA Area

Job description

A community hospital in the Walla Walla, WA area is seeking a General Surgery Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant for full-time locum tenens coverage. This is an inpatient, clinical-only assignment with no call and no weekends.

Schedule is Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., from late August through December 31, 2026. Responsibilities include assisting in the OR, rounding, prepping discharges, and coordination of care, with approximately 7 patients per shift. This is a Level 3 trauma setting.

Requirements: experienced first assist in general surgery required; board certified; active WA or IMLC license; DEA. Epic EMR. A long-term housing budget is available for the region.
