Trauma/General Surgery NP/PA – Richland, WA
📅 Start Date: January 4, 2027
📋 Contract: 13 weeks initially, with ongoing coverage needs
⏰ Schedule: Two weeks per month, 12-hour shifts (days or nights depending on coverage needs)
📞 Call: None
🏥 Setting: Inpatient Trauma/General Surgery
👥 Patient Volume: Approximately 20 patients per shift
💻 EMR: Epic
January Coverage Needed:
January 4–10: 7 AM–7 PM
January 18–24: 7 AM–7 PM
Position Details:
Provide inpatient trauma and general surgery coverage
Evaluate and manage surgical and trauma patients
Consult on and participate in pediatric trauma/surgical cases
Work with the surgical team in a Level III Pediatric Trauma Center
Pediatric case volume is relatively low, with fewer than 20 cases per month
Requirements:
Board-certified NP or PA
Active Washington license or ability to obtain licensure
Active DEA
ACLS and ATLS certifications
Trauma/General Surgery experience
Must be comfortable and competent managing pediatric trauma cases and participating in pediatric surgical procedures
Ability to cover two weeks per month
Credentialing: Approximately 90 days.
