Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Travel Registered Nurse (RN) – Medical/Surgical for a night-shift assignment in Lebanon, New Hampshire.

The RN will provide direct patient care to a diverse pediatric through geriatric population in a 19-bed Medical/Surgical unit. The ideal candidate will have strong acute-care Med/Surg experience and be comfortable working in a fast-paced hospital environment.

EMR: Epic
Nurse-to-Patient Ratio: Approximately 1:5, with possible 1:7 assignments on nights
Scrubs: Any color
Orientation: 8 hours, non-billable

Responsibilities
Assess patients and develop individualized plans of care.
Monitor patient conditions and recognize changes requiring intervention.
Administer medications and treatments safely.
Document assessments, interventions, medications, education, and patient progress in Epic.
Develop and participate in discharge planning and patient education.
Coordinate care with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams.
Delegate appropriate tasks to other healthcare team members.
Evaluate patient responses to treatment and modify plans of care as needed.
Maintain patient safety and follow hospital policies and nursing standards.
Required Qualifications
Minimum 3 years of recent Med/Surg experience.
Minimum 6 months of previous travel nursing experience.
Current Epic EMR experience.
Active New Hampshire RN license or Compact RN license at submission.
Current AHA BLS certification.
Current AHA ACLS certification.
Own reliable vehicle required.
Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as scheduled.
Block scheduling is not available.
Preferred
Telemetry experience.
Progressive Care/Stepdown experience.

One signed supervisory reference from within the past 2 years of employment
Active NH or Compact RN license
Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications
