Surgery Liver/Kidney Transplant Physician Assistant Needed in Bay Area CA
Start Date: Nov 2025 or as soon as credentialed
Contract Length: 3 months
Schedule: 4x10s M-F (rotating weekends Every other weekend)
Patient Care
Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including medical history, physical exams, and documentation.
Administer or order diagnostic tests and interpret results.
Develop and implement patient management plans while ensuring continuity of care.
Counsel patients on therapeutic regimens, health maintenance, and lifestyle modifications.
Perform therapeutic procedures such as injections, immunizations, and infection management.
Specialty-Specific Duties
Perioperative:
Act as first or second surgical assistant.
Assist in patient positioning, skin prep, and draping.
Provide hemostasis, wound exposure, suturing, and dressing application.
Liver Transplant:
Assist with liver transplant, organ procurement, hepatobiliary, and related surgeries.
Perform procedures such as central line placement, thoracentesis, paracentesis, wound debridement, and more (per scope).
Support operating room setup, patient positioning, and perioperative care.
Experience:
Minimum 2 years of recent, relevant PA experience (surgical or transplant preferred).

Credentialing Timeframe: ASAP
Active CA License
Medical malpractice insurance, travel, and lodging provided
