Specialty: Surgical PA -Ortho, will consider other specialties

Start Date: November

Contract Length: 3 months, ongoing

Shift Details: Monday- surgery. 7-5
Tuesday- Clinic- 8-5
Wed- Surgery 7-5
Thursday- Clinic 8-5
Friday- Clinic 8-5

Work Details:
· Support Staff: Medical Assistants, Nursing Staff, Scribes.
· Amount of Coverage Needed per Month: Fulltime
· Patients per day: Clinic- 30, surgery- 6
· Patient Population/Age: Mostly adult-geriatric
· Department description: Provider will support joint preservation surgeon. Clinic will involve pre and post-op and follow up appointments. Surgery will involve asissting with total hip and knee replacement and revisions.
· EMR: Epic
· Special Procedures: Arthroplasty for hip and knee and also surgical revisions.
· Skills required: MUST HAVE surgical background- Ortho surgery would be a big plus.

Practice Setting:
• Hospital

Requirements:
· Board Certification: Required
· License Required: Active CA license, not open to licensing
· DEA: Required
· Certifications Required: BLS, ACLS
· Minimum Experience Required: 1+ year- will need to hit the ground running.

Credentialing Timeframe: 60-90 days
