Surgical PA – Mammoth, CA

Assignment Details

* Start Date: January 4, 2027

* Duration: 6 months

* License: Active California PA license required

* Schedule: Full-time, 3 days per week, approximately 30–40 hours/week

* Typical Schedule: 1 day in the OR and 2 days in clinic

* Schedule may vary based on physician case schedules and department needs, with flexibility available

* Potential coverage at clinic as needed

Call Coverage

* Approximately 1 weekend per month, rotating among all PAs

* Night and weekend call coverage required

* First-assist OR call distributed among PAs

* Rotating holiday and high-volume event coverage

Responsibilities

* Report directly to the attending physician for patient evaluations and clinical duties.

* Provide first-assist coverage in the operating room.

* Participate in the rotating call schedule across surgical specialties.
