Job description

Surgical Physician Assistant locum opportunity in Potsdam, NY available. This is August coverage with a mix of OR first assist and floor responsibilities, with potential for ongoing work.

Schedule:
• August coverage (multiple blocks available)
• Optional call (weeknights and weekends)
• No call required
• Start: August 2026

Practice:
• Acute Care Hospital
• Mix of OR first assist and surgical floor coverage
• Work across General Surgery, OB/GYN, and Orthopedics
• Responsibilities include rounding, consults, discharges, and assisting in procedures
• 109-bed hospital
• EMR: Epic

Requirements:
• Board Certified PA
• Active NY license (licensing not available)
• DEA required
• BLS, ACLS, ATLS required
• Minimum 2 years recent experience
• Epic experience required
