Facility:
This regional medical center is a Level 2 trauma facility and Level 3 Pediatric Trauma center that provides comprehensive surgical services to the community. The facility offers excellent support for surgical teams and maintains high standards of patient care across all service lines.
Opportunity:
Advanced Practice - Nurse Practitioner - General Surgery, Physician Assistant - General Surgery
Job Details:
• Join the trauma surgery team as an Advanced Practice Clinician in an inpatient clinic setting
• Handle approximately 20 patient encounters per shift with 12 guaranteed hours per day
• Must be competent and comfortable performing pediatric surgeries - this is a critical requirement
• Consult on pediatric trauma cases (less than 20 cases per month) as part of Level 3 Pediatric Trauma center
• Participate in procedures including HMP and endoscopic appendectomies
• Work 12-hour shifts (7a-7p or 7p-7a) with flexibility for either schedule
• Minimum commitment of 7-14 shifts with coverage needed September through November
• Available shifts include week-long assignments from 9/7-9/13, 9/21-9/27, 10/5-10/11, 10/19-10/25, 11/2-11/8, and 11/16-11/22
• Must hold active Washington state license or IMLC eligibility
• DEA registration required with board certification mandatory
• ACLS certification required
• Credentialing timeframe approximately 90 days
Compensation:
Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
