Job description

General Surgery locum opportunity in Cottonwood, AZ. This is a call-focused assignment with defined coverage needs.

Schedule:
• Start: May 2026
• 24-hour beeper call
• 4–6 hours of callback daily
• Current need: mid-May coverage

Practice:
• Acute Care Hospital
• Low daily census (1–4 patients)
• Mix of general surgery and endoscopic procedures
• OR and inpatient coverage
• EMR: Cerner

Requirements:
• Board Certified or Board Eligible General Surgeon
• Active AZ license or IMLC (licensing not available)
• DEA required
• BLS and ACLS required
• Must have recent upper and lower endoscopy experience

Credentialing:
• Approximately 30 days
