Clinical operations are structured to ensure quality surgical care for the patient population served.

Arizona offers clinicians on assignment a range of regional attractions and year-round activities suited to varied interests. The state features diverse outdoor recreation opportunities, including ATV desert tours and hot air balloon rides, as well as day trip access to landmarks such as the Grand Canyon, Sedona, Horseshoe Bend, and Antelope Canyon. Cultural experiences, including food tours and guided tours of Native American ruins, are also available throughout the region.

About the clinician's workday

The clinician will provide 24-hour call coverage for general surgery services at an inpatient, on-site hospital in Arizona, with shifts running 7:00 AM to 7:00 AM. Primary responsibilities include performing general surgery procedures, managing surgical consultations, and maintaining continuous availability for both scheduled and emergent surgical needs. Call coverage is required. Coverage dates are 11/26/2026 - 11/30/2026 and 12/22/2026 - 1/4/2027.
