General Surgeon Locums Needed in AR-24/hr Call

Job description

Coverage Type: 24-Hour On Call

Start Date: December 2025
Shift Schedule: Standard – 5x24-hour shifts (7:00 a.m. – 6:30 a.m.)
Schedule Details:
• 1–2 weeks per month, every other weekend

Facility:
• Facility Type: Acute Care Hospital
• Trauma Level: Adult IV

Practice Details:
• Specialty: General Surgery
• Need: Coverage to maintain trauma designation (24/7 support)
• Procedures Include:
○ Gallbladder/Biliary disease
○ Hernia repairs
○ GI disorders (upper GI evaluations, biopsies, acute care treatments)
○ Skin/soft tissue removals (lesions, masses, cysts, lipomas)
○ Vascular access (port placements under skin for drug delivery)
