General Surgeon Needed In Arkansas

Job description

Start Date: December 19, 2025
Contract Length: 6-Month Block
Schedule: 1–2 weeks per month, including every other weekend
Call Required: Yes – 24-hour on-call coverage
Note: Must be available the week of Christmas 

Clinical Details

• Setting: Hospital – General Surgery with 24/7 coverage to maintain trauma designation
• Coverage Type: 24-hour on-call; must provide full support during scheduled weeks
• Procedures:
 – Gallbladder/Biliary Disease
 – Hernia Repairs
 – GI Disorders (upper GI evaluations), biopsies, and acute GI care
 – Skin/Soft Tissue: removal of skin lesions, masses, cysts, lipomas
 – Vascular Access: port placements under skin for drug delivery
