Job description

General Surgery locum opportunity in Clarksville, AR available. This is 24-hour call coverage at a Level IV facility with flexible block scheduling.

Schedule:
• 24-hour call (7a–6:30a)
• 2 weeks per month
• 1 weekend per month
• Flexible scheduling
• Start: May 2026
• 3–6 month assignment with option to extend
• Must be available the week of Christmas

Practice:
• Acute Care Hospital – Level IV
• OR-based coverage
• Supporting 24/7 trauma designation
• Core procedures include:

Gallbladder/Biliary disease

Hernia repairs

Upper GI evaluations & biopsies

Skin/soft tissue excisions

Port placements

Requirements:
• Board Certified General Surgeon
• Active AR license (licensing not available)
• DEA & AR CSR required
• ACLS & BLS required
• Minimum 3 years experience
• Clean background required

Travel:
• Mileage or rental car covered
• Lodging covered up to $150/night
