This medical center is a well-established healthcare facility serving the Northwest Arkansas region with comprehensive surgical services. The facility maintains Level 4 trauma capabilities and provides excellent support for providers while delivering quality patient care to the community.

Opportunity:
Physician - Surgery - General

Job Details:
• Provide comprehensive general surgery services for adult patients
• Perform required laparoscopic procedures including appendectomy, cholecystectomy, hernioplasty, and Nissen fundoplication
• Conduct essential GI endoscopy procedures including upper and lower endoscopy, sigmoidoscopy, and colonoscopy
• Handle chest tube insertion and central line insertion procedures
• Manage umbilical hernia repairs as required
• Preferred experience with trauma surgery, head/neck surgery, chest wall/pleural procedures, and breast surgery
• Preferred skills in liver surgery, PA catheter placement, and vascular surgery including aneurysm repairs
• Additional preferred procedures include diaphragmatic hernia, imperforate anus, omphalocele, and PDA ligation
• Must be board certified or board eligible in General Surgery
• Active Arkansas medical license or IMLC required
• ACLS and BLS certifications required
• Credentialing timeframe approximately 30 days with temporary privileges available
• Start date May 1, 2026 with ongoing coverage needs

Compensation:
Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
