Job Description:
We are seeking a Board-Certified or Truly Board-Eligible Neurosurgeon to join a high-demand neurosurgical practice in Southern Colorado. This is a hospital-based position offering a balanced mix of clinic, operating room, and inpatient responsibilities, with strong advanced practice provider support and access to modern surgical technology.

Key Responsibilities:
Provide comprehensive general neurosurgery services across inpatient, outpatient, and clinic settings
Perform elective and emergent neurosurgical procedures, with the opportunity to build an elective spine practice
Participate in shared ER call with imaging review from home and minimal in-person requirements
Collaborate closely with experienced PAs and multidisciplinary care teams
Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation using an integrated EMR

Schedule & Call:
Standard schedule includes clinic days, OR days, and a flex day each week
ER call approximately 7 days per month
Weekend call coverage approximately one weekend per month
Floor calls primarily managed by APPs

Practice Highlights:
Hospital-based neurosurgery practice with Level III trauma exposure
High-volume, underserved market with strong referral base
Established, collegial team environment with experienced APP support
Access to advanced neurosurgical tools and navigation systems
Clinic co-located with pain management services and on-site imaging

Qualifications:
Board Certified or Truly Board Eligible in Neurosurgery (ABNS)
Eligible for or willing to obtain an active Colorado medical license
Clean malpractice and licensure history
DEA required prior to start date

Additional Information:
Open to new graduate candidates who are truly board eligible
Visa sponsorship not available
1099/locum candidates not considered
Candidates must be able to practice locally without long-distance commuting
