Primary responsibilities include responding to emergency department consultations and performing bread-and-butter general surgery procedures, with the potential for emergent endoscopy as clinically indicated. Coverage is required for 6 - 10 shifts per month in an inpatient, on-site setting with no support staff available. Board certification in General Surgery is required for this assignment.
