About the clinician's workday

Clinicians will provide in-house general surgery call coverage on an on-site inpatient basis, with shifts beginning Friday at 5:00 PM and concluding Monday at 7:00 AM for each assigned weekend period. Clinical responsibilities are focused on HPB (hepato-pancreato-biliary) surgery, with on-site callback and inpatient rounding structured on Saturday and Sunday between 9:00 AM and 1:00 PM, approximately 2-4 hours per day. Call coverage is a required component of this assignment, and board certification in General Surgery is required for all clinicians considered for this position.
