Opportunity:
Physician - Surgery - General

Job Details:

• Provide general surgery coverage every weekend from Thursday 7:00PM through Monday 7:00AM, or every other weekend on the same schedule
• Handle 8 patient encounters per shift in a 15-bed department
• Perform adult general surgery procedures in a Level 3 trauma facility
• Manage trauma cases as required by the facility's trauma designation
• Must hold an active Indiana medical license - no out-of-state or IMLC licenses accepted
• Board certification required (minimum board certification eligible)
• BLS certification required
• Estimated credentialing timeframe of 60 days
• Locum Tenens engagement with an anticipated start date of January 1, 2027 on an ongoing basis
• Nearest airport is Indianapolis International (IND)
• Lodging accommodations available at provider's choice up to $200/night
