Full Time Locums General Surgery

Job description

Contract Length: 1–2 months initial commitment
Coverage Type: Full-Time, Monday–Friday
License Required: Active Kentucky license only

Schedule

Monday & Wednesday: 8:00am–3:30pm

Local procedures that do not require anesthesia

Tuesday, Thursday & Friday: 7:30am–3:00pm

General surgery cases

Fridays: May be allotted to Orthopedics based on caseload


ase Mix & Volume

Predominantly endoscopy-heavy practice with a large endo volume

Bread-and-butter general surgery cases

General surgery volume has been lighter recently:

~5–10 general surgery procedures per month

Average 5–6 endoscopies per general surgery day (Tue/Thu/Fri)

Call

No after-hours call required

Locum may request the team to come in if a need arises
