General Surgery Opportunity – KY
Start: ASAP
Duration: 1–2 month initial commitment
Schedule: Full-time, Monday–Friday

Daily Schedule:
• Monday & Wednesday: 8:00 AM–3:30 PM (local procedures, no anesthesia required)
• Tuesday, Thursday & Friday: 7:30 AM–3:00 PM (general surgery cases)
• Fridays may include Orthopedic cases as needed based on caseload

Case Mix & Volume:
• Primarily endoscopy with a high endoscopy volume
• Bread-and-butter general surgery cases
• Average of 5–6 endoscopies per general surgery day (Tue/Thu/Fri)
• General surgery volume has been lighter recently (approximately 5–10 cases per month)

Call:
• No after-hours call required
• Locum may request the team to come in if a need arises

Requirements:
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in General Surgery
• Active Kentucky medical license required
• Endoscopy experience required
