Start Date: February 6

End Date: February 9

Coverage Type: 24-hour call

Schedule: 7:00am–7:00am

Providers Needed: 1

Practice Setting

Inpatient only

Average volume: ~4 patients per shift

Fully staffed hospitalist and ICU attending teams

General Surgery PAs on-site most of the time

Surgeon serves primarily as a consultant

Scope of Work

General surgery coverage only

No endoscopy required

Inpatient consults as needed

Requirements

Board Certification in General Surgery (required)

Active Massachusetts license required

Fellowship training preferred

BLS certification required

• MA license requried
• Temp privs available
• Surgery only, no endoscopy.
