Opportunity:
Physician - Surgery - General

Job Details:
• Up to 10 days of call per month, starting in April and ongoing
• Perform various general surgery procedures for adults, pediatrics, and neonates
• Conduct laparoscopic surgeries including appendectomy, cholecystectomy, hernioplasty, and Nissen fundoplication
• Perform head/neck surgery including thyroid procedures
• Handle breast surgery, chest wall/pleural procedures
• Conduct obstetric & gynecologic surgeries including cesarean sections, D&C, and hysterectomy
• Perform GI endoscopy (upper and lower) including sigmoidoscopy and colonoscopy
• Experience with minor orthopedics and hand surgery
• Manage ventilation, chest tube insertion, central line insertion, and PA catheter placement
• Perform vascular surgeries including aneurysm repairs, arterial bypass, and vascular access devices
• Handle plastic surgery procedures
• Pediatric surgical procedures including artesias, abdominal wall defects, diaphragmatic hernia, and imperforate anus

Compensation:
Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
