General Surgeon needed in NM!

Job description

-Coverage Type: Call Only
-Schedule: We are looking for one provider who can take 7-10 days a month of call. No clinic or hospital work. Beeper call, should be within a 20-30 minutes response time to the hospital. Call shift times are 7am-7am.
-Work Details:
· Patients per shift: 6
· Patient population/age: adult
· Providers Requested: 1
· EMR: Epic
· Skills required: general, adult, Appendectomy, GI endoscopy
· No trauma designation, very small hospital. Volume should be on lower side, don't expect much call back.
-Practice Setting: Inpatient
-Requirements:
· Board Certification: Yes, Board certification or BE within 5 years of residency required
· License required: Active NM License Only
· DEA: Yes
· Certifications required: BLS
-Credentialing Timeframe: 60-90 Days
