Opportunity:
Physician - Surgery - General

Job Details:
• Provide 24-hour call coverage for general surgery services
• Perform bread and butter general surgery procedures including hernia repair, cholecystectomy, breast surgery, "lumps and bumps," and abscess drainage
• Conduct endoscopic procedures including EGD and colonoscopy
• Handle appendectomy, small bowel and colon surgery cases
• Must be Board Certified with clean background highly preferred
• No recent or open malpractice cases - malpractice history must be disclosed
• Active North Carolina medical license and NC DEA with NC address required
• Must be credentialed with Medicare, Medicaid and enrolled with PECOS
• NC Medicaid credentialing required
• Must be available within 20 minutes of facility when on call
• Hospital-owned individual apartments provided on-site with amenities
• Travel expenses capped at $500
• Experience with Meditech 6.1 EMR preferred
• 4 hours gratis daily required (prefer gratis hours bulked)
• Credentialing timeframe approximately 14 days
• Specific dates needed: 7/10/26 7A - 7/13/26 7A and 7/24/26 7A - 7/27/26 7A

Compensation:
Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
