General Surgery Locums – Oregon

Critical Access Hospital | Clinic + Hospital | Expedited Credentialing

A 21-bed critical access hospital in Oregon is seeking a Board-Certified General Surgeon to fill a current coverage gap. This opportunity includes both clinic and hospital privileges in a collaborative setting.

21-bed critical access hospital

Adult patient population

Average 10 patients per day

Admissions required

Collaborative coverage (not solo)

EMR: Epic

🕒 Call & Compensation

Includes clinic and hospital coverage

Weekend call required

4 hours of gratis included for weekend call

🔬 Required Procedures

Full-scope General Surgery

Colonoscopy (required)

Endoscopy (required)

Applicants must provide surgical case logs from the past 24 months reflecting the scope and complexity of requested privileges (recent graduates must provide training logs).

✅ Requirements

Active Oregon license (must be in hand at time of submission)

ACLS (AHA or American Red Cross)

Ability to complete credentialing application and verifications quickly

This is an excellent opportunity for a General Surgeon comfortable practicing in a rural critical access environment with both inpatient and outpatient responsibilities.
