Opportunity:
Physician - Surgery - General

Job Details:
• Provide general surgery services with 2-3 patient encounters per shift
• Handle adult general surgery cases (required) with pediatric and neonate surgery preferred
• Perform laparoscopic procedures including appendectomy, cholecystectomy, and hernioplasty
• Conduct colonoscopy procedures (required) and other GI endoscopy as needed
• Umbilical hernia repairs required, with other hernia procedures preferred
• Preferred skills include head/neck surgery, breast surgery, and trauma procedures
• Experience with chest wall/pleural procedures and ventilation management preferred
• OB/GYN surgical procedures including cesarean sections, D&C, and hysterectomy preferred
• Central line insertion, chest tube insertion, and PA catheter placement preferred
• Vascular surgery capabilities including arterial bypass and vascular access devices preferred
• Minor orthopedics and hand surgery experience preferred
• Must be board certification eligible (board certification not required)
• BLS certification required
• Must hold Tennessee medical license or IMLC
• Credentialing timeframe approximately 14 days
