Job description

Sumo Medical Staffing is seeking an experienced General Surgeon (MD/DO) for call-only locum coverage in Paris, Texas. This role supports inpatient call and ED consults with low daily volume and predictable responsibilities.

Work Environment & Schedule-
Coverage Type: Call-only (beeper call)
Response Time: 30 minutes
Call Volume: 1–3 calls per day
Patient Volume: Approximately 3 patients/day (0–5 per shift)
Setting: Hospital-based inpatient and ED consult coverage

Additional Requirements-
Active, unrestricted Texas medical license (in hand)
Board Certified or Board Eligible
DEA
CV in MM/YYYY format with all gaps explained
