General Surgeon Needed in Corsicana, TX | Weekend Call | Low Volume | Fast Credentialing

Job description

This is a call-only general surgery opportunity at an acute care hospital in Corsicana, Texas, covering 24-hour weekend shifts. The dates are weekends in September (9/4-9/6 and 9/11), with a flexible 7:00a-7:00p start. Credentialing runs about three days, and travel is covered.

The role is low volume, averaging 1-3 patients per shift, in a four-bed department spanning outpatient and inpatient work. The physician must be able to place pacemakers. Documentation is in MedHost.

Candidates should hold an active Texas license, a DEA, and ACLS. Fellowship training is preferred.
