We’re currently seeking a Board-Certified General Surgeon to provide locum coverage for an upcoming provider leave at a hospital in Northern Washington. This role begins July 9, 2025, and offers a consistent schedule of 14–15 call shifts per month, making it a great fit for surgeons looking for steady, high-impact work.

🏥 Assignment Details
Start Date: July 9, 2025

Specialty: General Surgery

Schedule: 12-hour trauma call shifts (AM or PM)

Shifts per Month: 14–15

Setting: Inpatient, acute care

Privileges Required: Hospital

Why the Need: Covering a provider leave

Patient Demographics: Level III Trauma patients; tertiary care hospital nearby (~25 miles)

Team Structure: Surgeon works in conjunction with anesthesia and emergency medicine

✅ Position Requirements
Licensure: Active WA medical license required

Certifications:

Board Certified in General Surgery

ATLS and other MSO-required certifications

EMR: EPIC – proficiency required

Rounding/Admissions: Yes – both required

Credentialing:

Standard: ~90 days

Temporary Privileges: ~120 days

Expedited Credentialing: ~30 days (must have clean pre-app and WA license)
