General Surgery Locum Tenens Physician – Spokane, Washington

Job description

An established, integrated health system in Spokane, Washington, is seeking a Board-Certified General Surgeon for locum tenens coverage from February 1 through October 1, 2027.

The physician will provide outpatient General Surgery services, including clinic visits and scheduled operating room coverage. This is a structured weekday assignment with no trauma or emergency call responsibilities listed.

Schedule
• Monday and Wednesday: 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. clinic
• Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday: OR days
• Approximately 12 patients per shift
• Coverage period: February 1–October 1, 2027

Practice Environment
• Outpatient setting
• Established surgical program
• Epic EMR
• Approximately 12 patients per shift
• Trauma Level 0 facility
• Fellowship training preferred

Compensation and Benefits

Requirements
• Board Certified in General Surgery
• Active Washington medical license
• Active DEA
• ACLS certification
• General Surgery experience
• Approximately 90-day credentialing timeframe
