This is a Level 3 trauma hospital providing comprehensive surgical and emergency services to the surrounding southern West Virginia community. The facility offers strong hospital, OR, and ER support staff, along with a streamlined credentialing process and temporary privileges available to ensure a smooth onboarding experience.

Job Details:

• Locum Tenens coverage for General Surgery and trauma call
• Coverage dates: Saturday, 9/26/26 and Sunday, 9/27/26
• Call hours: 7:00am to 7:00am (24-hour shifts)
• Inpatient hospital coverage only - no clinic
• Adult patient population
• Rounding on provider's own patients only
• Phone consults are limited due to hospitalist and ER physician support
• EMR/Charting system: Meditec
• Must hold an active West Virginia license or IMLC license
• Board certification preferred; board eligible accepted
• Required certifications: ABLS, ACLS, ATLS, BLS, and PALS
• Credentialing timeframe: 2-7 days for IMLC holders
• Temporary privileges are available
• Nearest airports: Charleston, WV (CRW) or Beckley, WV (BKW)
